Patryk Sylwerski

I have no single trade. Bookkeeping, code, sales, companies of my own.

I learned all of it on whatever needed doing at the time.

Companies and projects

Software for the office where I work, two companies of my own, a site for a decorating business, and a tool I built for myself. One of those companies is gone, and that is here too.

  1. SmartKsięgi

    Software for the office

    In use

A C# application used by the accounting office where I work. Seven modules turn the retyping of data between systems into proposals somebody approves: cash reports out of PDFs, KSeF invoices, working-time records, billing, and the revenue-and-expense ledger. It writes through the accounting system's official API, so the same checks apply as in manual work.

  2. WyniesiemyTo

    Co-owner

    Running

A service company I run with a friend: clearing flats and hauling furniture across Silesia. Enquiries and finding clients are on me; I put the site together with a generator and fixed it up in code.

  3. Dekor Events

    Site for a decorating business

    Online

A site for a company that decorates wedding venues. Built from scratch: copy, design, code, and a panel where the owners add their own work without having to call anyone.

  4. Offerly

    Project of my own

    In progress

A tool for keeping track of my own job applications. It exists because I lost track of where I had sent which CV and on what terms.

  5. LeadNexus

    Founder

    Closed

My own B2B lead generation company: building and segmenting lists, cold email, automated follow-up. I ran it from December 2025 to July 2026 and closed it. The process worked, the selling did not — building the machine turned out to be easier than finding somebody to buy it.

What I do

Three things I do alongside the bookkeeping itself — some at work, some after hours.

  1. Software of my own for the office

I wrote SmartKsięgi in C# — a program that spares the office the retyping of data between systems: cash reports out of PDFs, KSeF invoices, monthly client billing. The program proposes, the accountant approves; nothing is written on its own. Billing used to take the office twelve hours a month, now it takes two and a half to three.

  2. Language models where a rule is not enough

I bring in Claude and Gemini where a rigid rule stops being enough: reading an unusual document, checking data, a first draft of a reply. My own inbox is set up so that every morning n8n sorts the mail and drafts the answers. Where a rule does the job, a model only adds cost and one more thing that can break.

  3. Finding clients and handling enquiries

At WyniesiemyTo the selling is mine: I take the enquiries, quote them, and make sure nobody waits past the same day for an answer. At LeadNexus I did it from the other end — company lists, cold email, automated follow-up. At the accounting office the same work comes back around quotes and client contact.

How I work

Anyone who is going to automate a piece of work should do it by hand first. Otherwise they automate their idea of the work rather than the work.

The hard part happens before the code: sitting down with somebody who has been doing the thing for years and pulling out of them, question by question, how they actually do it. Usually it turns out nobody ever wrote it down.

Whatever I put in, I am the one on the hook when it stops working. That is why I know what is worth automating and what only adds one more thing to watch.

The road here

From a slaughterhouse job in England to full-scope bookkeeping and software of my own.

  1. Working in England

A slaughterhouse, manual labour. That is where my English comes from.

  2. Internship at Kancelaria ANNA

Into accounting through the paperwork. Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Poland.

  3. University

Computer science, artificial intelligence specialisation — WSB Merito University, Chorzów. In progress, through 2028.

  4. Staff accountant

Running full-scope bookkeeping for the practice’s clients on my own (payroll and HR excluded), year-end financial statements included.

  5. LeadNexus

My own B2B lead generation company. Closed in July 2026.

  6. WyniesiemyTo

A service company run with a friend. Clearing flats, hauling furniture.

  7. SmartKsięgi

The first module of the office software. There are seven of them now.

  8. Offerly and Dekor Events

A tool of my own and a site for a decorating business — both after hours.

Outside work

Twenty-two, based in Żory. A day job at the accounting office, weekend classes, my own projects in the evenings.

I have been running since May — I started so as not to spend a sixteenth hour at the desk. Since August it has been on hold: my back, medication, physiotherapy. I go back when the physiotherapist says so.
